Business Advisors WA: the local business improvement team
......with worldwide back up.

Who are we? - We are a group of independent business advisors working across the Perth metropolitan area. Accredited by the Institute for Independent Business, we all have hands on experience as successful business owners running our own businesses across a diverse range of industries. We know what it's like!

Who do we work with? - We work with owners of small to medium sized organisations that are generally focused "in the business", rather than "on the business"....and who are looking to develop and implement a future strategy, as well as being open to external assistance and support.

What do we do? - We help businesses grow to become bigger and better organisations and achieve sustainable profitable growth.

How do we do it? - With expertise across a wide range of industry sectors and skills, we adopt a hands on, practical approach to the issues facing a business.....working with Managing Director/Owners to resolve problems across finance, sales and marketing, operations, people and management. We develop action based, timed and measured plans to achieve results. We look at where you are now, where you want to be and how you are going to get there.

Why do we do it?
- We get passionate about the different businesses that we work with and are driven by making your business (as well as ours!) a success.

WA GAS EXPLOSION HURTS SMALL BUSINESS

The effects of the gas explosion on Varanus Island are already being felt by businesses across the State, and it is unlikely that any business will avoid a negative flow-on. At the very least, the laying-off of construction and mining workers will lead to a reduction of demand across all sectors. It will be several months before supplies are fully re-stated and all business owners are encouraged to review their operations to assess what future effects may be experienced. Early remedial action may save costs and avoid lost production over the coming months.

Small Business Minister Margaret Quirk has issued a press release encouraging small business owners to curb their energy use saying that although supply would resume, at least partially within two months, some businesses - especially those in the mining, resource and building sectors - were already feeling the pinch.
