Business Advisors WA is a group of experienced business people based throughout Perth.
Business Advisors WA work with progressive companies to provide practical business advice through a hands on approach.
Our aim is to work with you and utilise the capability of a community of business people with a variety of business and management skills to improve your business.
All advisors have extensive experience in running various businesses in the past and all are Executive Associates of the Institute for Independent Business (IIB).
Between them, the advisors can provide just about any type of assistance that may be required by most businesses, be it a manufacturer, a technology company or a service provider.
Business Advisors WA are focused specifically on small and medium sized enterprises (SME), that often miss out on the vital advice that can make all the difference between success and failure. Indeed, in a recent survey entitled "Back to the Future", it was stated that 40% of entrepreneurs did not realise how little they knew about running a business.
The IIB is a not-for-profit research and accreditation organisation established in 1984 to give independent businesses direct access to some of the top business people so bringing practical advice & timely ideas to the business.
The IIB is the largest organisation of its type with over 5000 Executive Associates accredited in 25 countries having now been through the accreditation process, working with businesses mostly within the 'small to medium sized' (SME) sector, in placing at their disposal mature senior executives to use as 'sounding boards' and support and mentoring whenever and wherever is required, drawing on one of the most comprehensive support infrastructures in the world. |

WA GAS EXPLOSION HURTS SMALL BUSINESS
The effects of the gas explosion on Varanus Island are already being felt by businesses across the State, and it is unlikely that any business will avoid a negative flow-on. At the very least, the laying-off of construction and mining workers will lead to a reduction of demand across all sectors. It will be several months before supplies are fully re-stated and all business owners are encouraged to review their operations to assess what future effects may be experienced. Early remedial action may save costs and avoid lost production over the coming months.
Small Business Minister Margaret Quirk has issued a press release encouraging small business owners to curb their energy use saying that although supply would resume, at least partially within two months, some businesses - especially those in the mining, resource and building sectors - were already feeling the pinch.
